Adult Ministries

Life Groups

Everyone is encouraged to be part of a Life Group, which is a small group of people of similar age, life stage or interest who meet for the purpose of Bible study, growing in their relationship with God and developing friendships. Group members experience and learn real answers to real life issues. For more information send an email to LifeGroups@NorthernValleyEFC.org.

Men’s Ministries

The Men’s Ministry seeks to strengthen and equip men for the spiritual battles faced in our daily lives. Christian fellowship is a key part of this ministry as we offer worship nights, barbecues, and sports ministries. Our main goal is to build each other up in Christ Jesus.

Women’s Ministries

Women’s Ministries exists to complement the other ministries of the church and yet provide opportunities specifically geared to women to help them grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We strive to offer a variety of events and classes from crafts to in-depth Bible studies to encourage women in their relationships with one another and with God.

Young Adult

Aletheia, the Young Adult Ministry takes its name from the Greek word for truth. Through the learning and discussion of God’s Word young adults seek to better understand His truths and live in a way that reflects the unfailing love of God as seen through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The group meets Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. for Bible study, worship, fellowship and food. For more information visit our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/AletheiaNVEFC

Single Parent

NVEFC’s Single Parents Ministry provides an environment that develops character and fosters Godly relationships to single parent families. We hope to support and encourage parents and their children through God’s word so they realize God has a special plan and purpose for every family.
We spend time praying for the children, their schools and their environment.
Childcare provided upon request.

English as a Second Language

ESL is a response to the perceived language needs of people living in Cresskill and its surrounding communities. Weekly ESL classes are offered Friday mornings for a period of 30 weeks. Casual, conversational classes are conducted at the beginner/intermediate level. There is also a one week ESL Bible study during the summer held the same week as Vacation Bible School.
