Northern Valley has been here in Cresskill for nearly 55 years.  We are affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America which was founded in 1884. The term Evangelical refers to God's provision of forgiveness of sin and His desire to have a personal, vibrant and eternal relationship for any who believe.  The term Free is a reference to the absence of denominational structure.  Each congregation is free to actively determine its own decisions and ministries.

Our Vision Statement

Northern Valley Evangelical Free Church has a vision to
see the Great Commission fulfilled, beginning with our
families, and intentionally reaching outward to the
communities of Bergen County and ultimately the world,
through a balance of creatively WINNING the lost,
thoroughly BUILDING the believers and dynamically
EQUIPPING the workers - all resulting in making fully
trained disciples who are reaching their generation
for Christ.
